Not all functions are available compared to a PCDx.Mxxxx controller.
These modules do not have an automation server for example.
Programming
The modules are programmed with Saia PG5® via a master controller or directly via Micro-USB. The modules are also equipped
with NFC. This enables additional options for commissioning and during operation.
Programming direct via USB
All freely programmable E-Line modules have a Micro-USB connection at the front of the
module. The user program can be loaded on the connected modules via the direct connec-
tion of the PC to the module via USB, for example.
Programming via a master controller (PCDx.Mxxxx)
The master controller connected to the freely programmable E-Line modules uses
the RS-485 bus (S-Bus), to load the user program on the corresponding modules.
Here the master controller is used as a gateway.
