General information on Saia PCD® energy meters
Reliable directly from the factory. The design and production of energy meters in Murten are such that the meters also exhibit
high levels of reliability and durability even under extreme industrial conditions. The high quality standards of the Swiss produc-
tion site guarantee high accuracy and enable the production of MID-approved energy meters, which have a guaranteed accuracy
immediately following delivery and for their entire calibration period. This approval means that the measured values are consid-
ered totally accurate and can be used throughout Europe for billing purposes.

Meters for converter connection
The use of current converters makes costly shutdowns of entire machines for meter installation a thing of the past. The replace-
ment of an energy meter or current converter while the system is running is possible with the consistent use of flap current
converters, since the faulty parts can be replaced easily without disconnecting the entire system from the power supply.
