Good to know
The PCD7.D457Bxxx and PCD7.D457Sxxx are replaced with the PCD7.D457V panels in 2012. The repair service is guaranteed until end of 2017.
The PCD7.D457SMCF was replaced by the PCD7.D457VMCF by the end of 2011. The repair service is guaranteed until end of 2013.
Firmware version 1.10.60 corrects a problem concerning the backlight of B&W MB Panels, see FAQ 101532.
The main differences between firmware 1.08.52 and 1.10.60 are listed in FAQ 101389.
Please note that it is not possible to enter the setup menu and updating the firmware if the QVGA MB Panel is inside an in-wall or an on-wall kit (see FAQ 101408).
When updating the FW of MB Panels it may happens that you have to update the booter as well. For example when you're downloading the firmware and you get a NAK response (see FAQ 101226).

In order to use the Alarming and the Trending macros on the QVGA MP Panels, the Web Editor version 5.11.06 or later is required (as well as firmware version 1.07.00 or later for the MB Panel or 1.08.01 for 3.5" MB Panels).
The latest Web Editor version is 5.13.00 and can be downloaded from the PG5 section.
