Good to know
The PCD8.P100 has been discontinued in 2008 (repair service until end of 2013). For programming PCD controllers the software PG5 can be used together with e.g. a laptop.
If you want to program PCD1.Mxxx, PCD2.M150/170, PCD4.M170 or PCD6.M300 you need the intermediate firmware version $301 since S-Bus is not supported by earlier versions. Contact your local SAIA sales company to get this firmware. For the use with PCD1 the use of a PCD8.K101 programming calbe is recommended since with a PCD8.K100 the relatively large inrush current of the P100 can cause the PCD1 to restart when connecting to it.
