Service life
Many competitors provide panels with STN LCDs These displays can only be easily read when viewed from the front from a vertical
perspective. Visibility is also limited for devices with CCFL backlight in bright surroundings. Setting the maximum contrast generally
compensates for this. However, this shortens the service life of the LCD display, which therefore needs to be replaced once or twice over
the system service life. The TFT LCD displays built into the Saia PCD® Web Panel MB use LED backlighting and ensure a long service life
and efficient readability for prolonged period.
