PCD7.L79xN Compact room controllers
The series of compact room controllers is particularly suitable for simple systems which involve heating and/or
cooling. The PCD7.L79xN series room controllers include the control of presence and setpoint values, the room
temperature sensor and the valve or flap control in a single housing. The integrated regulation and control
program is a component of the basic software and can be configured and parameterised using network com-
munication via Saia PG5. Fully independent functionality is guaranteed, even with no bus connection.
PCD7.L6xx Combinable room control system
A combinable control system can be used to automate systems with a higher requirements profile, such as fan
coil applications or the integration of light and shade. The PCD7.L6xx series comprises several base controllers,
the expansion modules for the activation of light and shade and a range of room control units. This series also
has an integrated regulation and control program as a component of the basic software and can be extensi-
vely configured and parameterised using network communication. Fully independent functionality is guaran-
teed, even with no bus connection.
PCD1 E-Line (PCD1.Xxxx-C15)
E-Line modules for room automation are fully programmable with Saia PG5. The inputs, outputs and interfaces are
tailored to the demands of modern room automation. The I/O mix is, for example, optimally adjusted for light and
shade functions. The programmable PCD1 E-Line series enables separate and secure operation of the modules,
even if communication to the master station is interrupted. This ensures the local function at all times, i.e. of a
room. The requirements in the room automation, zone controls or remote tasks are constantly increasing. The E-
Line series provides the greatest reliability and can be used flexibly throughout its entire service life.
PCD1.Room
Saia PCD1.Room (PCD1.M2110R1) is a programmable room controller for complex solutions with many com-
munication options. In addition, Saia PCD1.Room offers numerous options for integrating additional systems in
the room via standard communication interfaces, such as BACnet, for example. (Energy-) efficient and individu-
al room automation can therefore be easily implemented. The controller also provides a good basis to achieve
the energy efficiency classes in accordance with EN 15232:2012.
Room automation
SBC has various products available for room automation. Depending on the task, various components are used for this that were de-
scribed in section A. The product groups will be briefly presented again below, and subsequently subdivided. The objective is to assess
as quickly as possible when and where certain products can be used to meet the relevant requirements.
