Release status of products
Product maturation is an evolutionary process and follows a maturation and learning curve. It starts with a product idea, which many people and divisions within the company then work on for a long time to reach all the new product’s various targets. These targets represent the function and design of the product. The manufacturer’s performance and quality standards must also be achieved. At Saia-Burgess Controls AG the product maturation process is represented with colour codes. These are described in the table below.
