The tool tracewin.exe is a small executable that records the communication between Saia PG5® and the S-Bus communicaiton driver. It is very useful in order to analyze the communication between Saia PG5® and the PCD's. Since it logs the information of the SCommDll, it may also be used for recording S-Bus traffic of the SBC OPC server or any other software using the SBC S-Bus driver.
In a S-Bus network, programmed with FUPLA, when a slave station is disconnected or powered off, the communication can be very slow.
If for example a Scada system communicate over S-Bus slave gateway port or S-Bus PGU port with a slave station via a master gateway port then after a programm download to the gateway PCD (or if the gateway PCD is restarted) the S-Bus slave gateway port or the S-Bus PGU port of the gateway SPS is blocked. In order to communicate again through this ports a system reboot (powerup) of the gateway SPS is needed. This problem could occur on all communication channels between the PC and the PCD (USB, serial, TCP)
If there is only one CPU in the project you are not able to asign a SASI S-BUS Master IP.
The Sasi S-Bus Master F-Box indicates a diagnostic error and is red. The data is transmitted but obviously not properly.
If you want to use the S-Bus OPC-Server and PG5 on the same PC then you have to make attention to use the correct version of the S-Bus OPC-Server which fit with the corresponding version of the scommdll.
