Partnerships:
developing users’ skills and efficiency
Before:
After:
As described in the Editorial, it is impor-
tant to tackle challenges aggressively.
Anyone who is well prepared can pre-
vent unavoidable challenges from be-
coming serious problems.
With our new Saia HVCSE training, we
have invested in helping our customers
overcome the following serious chal-
lenges:
1.
Pressure on margins when
implementing projects
2.
Lack of qualified ICA personnel
The pressure on margins can be com-
bated through greater efficiency or
better skills (differentiation Character-
istics). The lack of qualified personnel
can be combated by providing those
with lower or other specialist qualifica-
tions with specific training on ICA tech-
nology.
Our former training programwas aimed
at qualified, experienced ICA engineers.
The objective was to ensure they were
skilled in solving problems through the
use of the Saia® PCD system.
With the new training centre, we now
offer targeted courses that make solu-
tion implementation and commission-
ing more efficient. They therefore work
directly towards improving service pro-
viders’ margins.
Furthermore, practical courses with a
duration of up to four weeks are now
available to prepare people with no pri-
or ICA experience to work on projects.
On completing the course, you should
be able to carry out your first ICA
projects with Saia® PCD.
The new training centre is directly at-
tached to the Saia-Burgess factory and
Head Office. This means that practical
energy management experience can
be acquired using live installations and
real data instead of just dry theory.
Details of content and available equip-
ment can be found on page 126 in the
article by the training centre manage-
ment.
As Murten is located in the multilingual
country of Switzerland, we are able
to offer courses in German, English,
French and Italian.

European ICA Training centre
in Murten/CH
On returning from the Controls training centre, you can carry out your first
real operational projects and modify, optimise and upgrade existing building
installations.
On arrival at the Controls Training centre, participants are not yet familiar
with the ICA technology, nor with practical project implementation for building
installations.
