In case a "non Saia PCD® COSinus" PCD or PCS1 system is connected with "Secure S-Bus Data mode" (e.g. over a serial cable or over modem) from time to time a telegram is not answered correctly.

Due of an error of PG5 2.0 and PG5 2.1 it’s not possible to configure on the device configurator correctly the Profi-S-Bus of the PCD1.M2xx0. The device configurator uses the port 2 for Profi-S-Bus, instead to use the port 0. The error is fixed on PG5 2.1 version PG5 $2.1.047

Due of an error on PG5 2.1.420, a download of the application program to the PCS1 does delete the S-Bus configuration which was loaded previously with the PG5 device configurator The error is fixed in PG5 2.1.430.
There are several reasons to use the FBox "SASI S-Bus Extended" (see FAQ 101400). But there is a limitation that it is not possible to use this FBox for re-assigning a port as Gateway master port on Saia PCD® COSinus systems.
Since the version 2.02.16.06 of the S-Bus OPC-Server there is the possibility to set a new parameter “delay” on the station settings page. This parameter defines the waiting time between two connections, if the preceding connection was not finished correctly.
