Why does only one PCD3.R600 work on my PCD3?

Symptom
The file systems of the PCD3.R600 on slot #0 to slot #2 (SLxFLASH:/) on a PCD3 are not visible on a PCD3 with several PCD3.R600 equipped. This phenomenon can be observed on systems equipped with SD flash cards PCD7.R-SD512 and PCD7.R-SD1024 which have a production date in the year 2009 (09xx) if the hardware version of the PCD3.R600 is older than "D".
If only one PCD3.R600 equipped with a SD flash card mentioned is used, no problem is to be expected. This single PCD3.R600 can be inserted in any slot from slot #0 to slot #2.

Reason
It is possible that the PCD does not correctly initialize the file systems of the above mentioned cards at start-up if more than one R600 is plugged. As result the file systems can not be used (and are not visible on the FTP server of the PCD).
There is no data loss inthis situation.

Solution
With hardware version "D" of the PCD3.R600 it is possible to mount several PCD3.R600 modules to the PCD (without any restriction of the production date of the SC card).
The modules with this modification available from stock since August 2009 (calendar week 33 2009).
