Why it’s not possible to make the binding with the LonMaker to a PCS1?

FAQ #101132

If a PCS1 does use at the same time a serial communication with > 9’600 baud and the user wants to make a binding with the LonMaker then it’s possible that the binding will not succeed and on the LonMaker there is an error message:

“The device is application less or is not associated with a program record”

To solve the problem and to be able to make the binding either you have to switch off the serial communication or to use a baudrate <= 9'600 baud.

The reason of the problem is, that the PCS1 has not enough CPU power to perform simultaneously a Lon binding and a serial communication with > 9'600 baud.
