Once a year, a major operator/planner conference on
building efficiency is held in Frankfurt am Main (Ger-
many). This focuses on the question of how technol-
ogy can be used to operate buildings more efficiently
–
not only in terms of resource consumption but also
personnel requirements and maintenance costs. In
this regard, the independent conference judging
panel also launches an annual competition, with the
awards presented during the conference. In 2010, we
won the award for the best automation product; the
Saia® Energy Manager enabled us to achieve gold in
the manufacturer Olympics. In 2011, we won the best
service concept award. These awards reassure all cus-
tomers that use the Saia® PCD in their projects and
properties that they have made a good, objective
choice – for today and the future.

In late 2010, the Saia® PCD3.M5 controller won the
best automation product award! The decisive factors
included the strong communication options and the
many different functions offered as standard, such as
the AutomationServer.
