Due of an error on the FW the overflow status flag of the onboard analogue inputs does not work correctly. This flag was set to high in the middle of the measurement range and not if the maximum valu
On the patch 1 of the PG5 2.0.220 there is a error which does lead to the situation, that data’s which are defined by the user as ‘data transfer array’ where no more exchanged between the PCD3.T66x and the smart automation manager. This error occures during compilation of the project, but doesn't corrupt the original project. The configured I/O’s of the PCD3.T66x are exchanged without problems between the devices. The patch 2 for PG5 2.0.220 will fix this error and will be available soon.
If the S-Bus communication over TCP/IP between PCD’s does not work, then do check on the TCP/IP settings table of the PG5 project manager that the field “use” is checked for each line (device) which have to communicate over S-Bus TCP/IP. It’s possible that after an import of a PG5 1.4 project in to PG5 2.0 the field “use” on the TCP/IP settings table is unchecked and therefore the communication over S-Bus TCP/IP doesn’t work.
Due of an error in the hardware the first series (hardware version A and B) of the PCD2.M4x60 is not able to use the PCD7.W600 analogue input module. The error was fixed in the hardware version C of the PCD2.M4x60.
Due of an issue on the production, some of the PCD2.C1000 and PCD2.C2000 produced between the week 20 and week 36 of the year 2021 where not equipped with a red jumper on the board of the PCD2.C1000/PCD2.C2000. What is the effect if the if the red jumper is not plugged on the board? If this red jumper is not put on the board of the PCD2.C1000/C2000, then the internal power supply is not feeding the I/O modules and it’s not possible to use the inputs/outputs of the plugged I/O cards correctly.
Situation: The PCD is configured as Modbus client with the Saia-Modbus client F-Boxes and you have to communicate over Ethernet with a Siemens S7-314C-2 with the Modbus protocol. Randomly, some read or write F-Boxes are working fine and others not.
