For connecting a PCD2.C2000 to a PCD2.M5xxx a PCD2.K106 version B or later is required. During the past year, the following modifications of the PCD2.K106 have been realized.
In April 2011 a new firmware for the PCD2.M487 has been introduced into production. This FAQ lists the main differences of this firmware compared to the previous firmware used in production (1.315)
The price list 2011 does not contain the article number of the screw terminal blocks from a PCD1.M2xxx. This is why the numbers are listed here.
A "Bus Error" (which is indicated in the history of the PCD) indicates that the firmware was not able to execute an internal command (reading from the memory bus).
In the system tab from the PG5 2.0 a constant with the symbol name "S.CPU.PcdType" can be found. This constant is created based on the CPU type selected in the Device Configurator and is very useful in order to check the type of the PCD within IL code.
When the weighing modules first have been introduced it was possible to order a weighing module that was already calibrated for a specific weighing cell. This module was a PCD2.W721 (or PCD3.W721).

In february 2010 a new firmware version for the systems PCD2.M177 and PCD.Smart.M177 has been introduced into production. The reason for this introduction is that a new type of flash is used on the PCD7.R400 memory modules. This new flash memory is only supported by the new firmware 3.123 (and later versions).
During the year 2003 SBC has delivered PCD2.T813Z42 modems. This is also an analogue modem like the PCD2.T813. The differrence is that the PCD2.T813Z42 in fact is a 56k modem while the PCD2.T813 is a 33.6k modem.
In the fourth quarter of 2005 a new modem type PCD2.T814 has been introduced. The difference between the PCD2.T813 and the PCD2.T814 is only hardware related. The functionalities and compatibilities remain the same.
