In case a PG5 project has been created in PG 5 1.4.300 without patch 7 or later installed (or in a beta version of PG5 2.0, a $ version) the PCD3 compact was in pilot phase. At this time it wasn't possible adding an extension module (PCD3.Cxxx). In case this project is imported into PG5 2.0.110 the device configurator doesn't show the possibility to add an extension.
When you try to import a previously exported Fupla page in PG5 2.0.200 then the static symbols aren't shown in the Symbol list window of the import dialog.
It is possible to use the interrupt inputs (Int0 = i 8100; Int1 = i 8101) of a PCD2.M5xxx or PCD3.Mxxxx as normal input without using the corresponding interrupt XOB.
Due to an error on the PG5 2.2.230 BACnet compiler, PCD resource addresses changes (Reg-ister/Flags/DB’s/Text address change of existing symbols) on existing PG5 projects are not detected from the PG5 BACnet compiler and therefore the changed PCD resource addresses are not taken in account in the PCD after the download of the modified program. Concerned products: All PCD’s with FW 1.28.xx or later where BACnet revision 14 is used and where modified PG5 2.2.230 projects are loaded to the PCD. The error doesn’t occur if: the PCD doesn’t contain a BACnet program. BACnet revision 9
Why after a update to PG5 2.3.196 the web-pages are no more displayed on the PCD7.D5xxCF/CF1/RF panels? Instead only a grey web-page is displayed.
On download of a big program with PG5 2.0.200 to a PCD1.M2xx0 or PCD3.Mxx60 the error message "Command not accepted: NAK response" can be returned by the downloader.
On the PG5 HVC library, per default the values does have a dec.1 notation means that the 'raw' value 1234 does have a signification of 123,4. But the 'Man AO' FBox (L60x-1 Man AO) from the FBox family 'RoomControler PCD7_60x V2' does need to have a decimal value without decimal point. (for an output value of 8.3 V the decimal value 83 have to be set) This FBox allows the manual control of the Y3,Y4 or PWMs outputs (as long as there are not configured or used with HVC-Room FBox PCD7.L60x-1). If connected to the output of a HVC FBox, when the input value of the 'Man AO' FBox reaches 10
On the PCD1, and PCD2.M110/120/150 it is possible to put a memory chip as extension memory. The table below contains a list of the supported extension memory chips for classic PCD's.
The main application of this FBox is replacing a DX system by a PCD without the need to replace all the XT extensions, too. Therefore the FBox library for the Johnson Controls JCI N2-Bus is designed to connect XT 9100 extension modules (where the PCD is the master and the XT9100 is the slave).
If the PCD2.F2610 or PCD3.F261 Dali communication modules are used: There is no need to use a Tridonic interface. The whole DALI configuration is done with the Dali F-Box over the F2610/F261 modules If the DALI communication is done over the serial line of the PCD and a external DALI interface: For the programmation of the lights in the DALI network Tridonic offers a tool. Additionaly an USB interface is necessary. For the communication with the PCD a serial interface is needed.
