The PCD7.R-SD256 will be discontinued by the end of 2012. As replacement the PCD7.R-SD512 can be used, the only difference is the higher amount of memory available.
The PCD7.R-SD256, PCD7.R-SD512 and the PCD7.R-SD1024 can be inserted into an SD card module PCD3.R600 or PCD2.R6000. The SD card module can be plugged in an I/O slot on the PCD3.Mxxxx CPU (or in case of the PCD2.R6000, in one of the first 4 I/O slots of the PCD2.M5540.
For further information regarding the handling of the file system on the PCD3 and the PCD2.M5xx0 and the access of the FTP- or HTTP direct server please refer to the page of the PCD7.R55x modules.
The SBC SD File system Explorer 188.8.131.52 or later can be used for reading and writing data from the SD cards PCD7.R-SD256, PCD7.R-SD512, PCD7.R-SD1024 or the uSD card PCD7.R-MSD1024 (used in the PCD7.R610)
Note that the SBC SD File system Explorer requires the Microsoft® .Net Framework 2.0 to be installed on the PC if Windows XP is used. (The Microsoft® .Net Framework 2.0 can be found on the PG5 Controls Suite CD in the folder "PG5/Windows")
After the installation the SD Flash Explorer can be found in the Windows Start Menu under "SBC" "PG5 Suite 2.0" or "PG5 Suite 2.1":
