Licensing error when installing PG5 1.4.301 on Windows 10

Even if this is not tested and guaranteed anymore many customers managed to install PG5 1.4 on their Windows 10 PC’s but there is a problem with licensing.
Symptoms
The installation path has to be adapted according the following document:

Many customers have problems to register the user.key with the function Help -> Register Software
The following message might be returned:
“Failed to update registry (ID1)”
Reason
The function is not executed due to missing administration rights.
Solution
At least for doing the operation of registering the user.key, PG5 1.4 should by started with right mouse click -> run as administrator.
After this operation, you can start PG5 the usual way.
