What are the port numbers which have to be used on Step7 depending of the communication modules?

The port numbers which have to be used on Step7 depends on the used communication module and on the place where the module is plugged in to the PCD.

 

 

General rule for the port number:

PCD

Socket for comm. module PCD1, PCD2

PCD E/A slot for PCD1.M2
PCD2.M5 and PCD3 CPU's
