Why can't I use the "alarming macro" on a VGA MB Panel with an S-Bus connection?

Symptom
When trying to load the alarming macro with the VGA MB Panel (PCD7.D4xxV) through an S-Bus connection (serial or Ether-S-Bus) the microbrowser hangs and it is no more possible to browse. This symptom can be observed on all firmware versions until 1.12.01 (respectively 1.12.02 or 1.12.05).

Reason
With firmware version 1.12.xx before the version 1.12.11 it was only possible to display the "alarming macro" throught an http direct connection over the port 80.

Solution
The firmware version 1.12.11 for the PCD7.D4xxV allows using the alarming macro also over S-Bus.

Remark
Please note that an earlier version of this FAQ stated that the Alarming Marcro can be used with an S-Bus connection with firmware version 1.12.05, which is not true. We apologise for this wrong information.
