Calculation of the frequency
FAQ #100997
The PCD7.H104S can only handel frequencys up to 17Hz. Isn't there a danger that the AAD1 or AAE1 have a higher frequency?
No, even with the maximal current they won't reach the 17Hz:
Calculation of the frequency:
Maximal frequency for the PCD7.H104S is 17 Hz.
AAD1
AAD1, 32A = 1000 imp/kWh
P=U * I
P=230V*32A (Imax)
P=7.36 kW
1000 Impulses per kW => 1000 * 7.36= 7360 Imp/h
Frequency=Impulses/second
7360 Imp/h => 7360 / 3600= 2,044 Imp/sec
Frequency maximal=2.044 Hz
AAE1
AAE1, 65A = 1000 imp/kWh
P=230V*65A (Imax)
P=14.95kW
Impulses = 14950 Imp/h
Impulses = 4.15 Imp/s => 4.15 HZ
If a three phase counter AAE3 is used, there are only 100 impulses per hour.
Our counters do never have a higher frequency than 17 Hz, even with maximal current over a long time.
