Why are the LED's RUN HALT and ERROR flashing when going online?

Problem
The CPU is running, when connecting with the programming tool and going online it can happen that all LED's RUN HALT and ERROR are flashing.

Reason
If the CPU has an old firmware and a new version of Step 7 is used this can happen do to some new telegramms in Step7 which can not be handled by our firmware.

Solution
Update your firmware to the actual version

The actual firmware version is available on the support site. We recommend to update to the last official version.
