Callback of PCD7.R400 modules
FAQ #100641
The functionality of the PCD7.R400 produced in the time range between week 25 and week 47 in the year 2006 can not be guaranteed. Therefore a callback of these modules has been started.
Symptom
Among other effects it is not possible starting a restore of the content of an affected module by pressing the button on the module. Also the restore or backup of the memory from or to the PCD7.R400 is not reliable.
Reason
This problem is caused by a wrong flash chip mounted on the module (M29F800DB 70N1E instead of AM29F800BB-70ED). Please refer to the pictures below for identifying the relevant components (soldere right next to the button for a restore).

Solution
You should have been contacted by your sales representative for calling back theses modules (the callback action was started in week 48 of 2006). If this is not the case, please contact your local Saia-Burgess Controls AG. representative and ask for the further procedure.
