Is it possible to send a FAX from the PCD?

For Swiss customers:
Swisscom is offering an SMS to FAX service. This service is just available if a GSM modem is used. With an analogue modem it is not supported.

Realisation:
If a GSM modem is used, sending a FAX is like sending an usual SMS. Just insert the following string at the beginning of the SMS: *FAX#

To send the text: "Hello this is a Test" as a Fax your SMS text to send has to be: "*FAX#Hello this is a Test"
