Why does the Profi S-I/O Bus stopps when connecting an ESA terminal over Profi S-BUS

A Profi S-I/O Network is communicating properly. When the ESA terminal is connected to the networt too, the Bus stops for a while.
The reason can probably be, that the ESA Terminal has the same address as an other station in the network. This can cause such distrubances.
