Why is a Westermo TD-35 not working with other baudrates than 9600?
FAQ #100406
There is a problem with the Westermo-Modem TD-35 when using other baudrates than 9600. Westermo will correct it.
Problem
When using a Westermo TD-35 with a PCD2 / 3 / 4 , connection with full protocol (eg PG5) can only be established at 9600 bps. Selecting any other baud rate causes the modem to answer but no connection can be established & PG5 subsequently hangs-up the line. This appears to be the case regardless of which PCD communication port the modem is connected to.
Reason
The problem is due to the modem.
Solution
At the moment this Westermo Modem works only properly at 9600 bps.
