Disappeared Windows of PG5 Project Editor and Fupla Editor

FAQ #100115

After moving windows (e.g. Project Tree of Project Editor) it can occur that the window disappears. In this case selecting them in the "View" menu doesn't help to make them visible again.

The problem is caused by impossible position definition in the registry.
To solve the problem it is recommended to delete the corresponding Registry entry. The Registry entries (folders) will be generated again at next launch of the corresponding tool; the positions of the windows will be default positions.
Make sure the PG5 isn't running while deleting the registry entries!

The Windows tool REGEDIT is fully sufficient for this operation. It is to be called under the Windows start menu by selecting "Run..." and typing REGEDIT.
Please find below the registry entries for the corresponding window to be deleted:

Project Manager:

Project Tree Winow:
Message Window:

Fupla Editor:

Symbol Editor Window:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/SAIA-Burgess/PG5/<version>/<version><version><version>SAIA Fupla Editor/DockWindows-Bar6
Page Navigator window:</version></version></version>

HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/SAIA-Burgess/PG5/<version>/<version><version>SAIA Fupla Editor/DockWindows-Bar7
FBox Selector window:</version></version>

HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/SAIA-Burgess/PG5/<version>/<version><version>SAIA Fupla Editor/DockWindows-Bar8</version></version>

In some cases it might be necessary to delete the whole upper directory "SAIA Fupla Editor"!

<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

Please note that the creation of a backup of the whole registry is strongly recommended whenever the registry is modified by the user.

The requested software / document is no longer marketed by Saia-Burgess Controls AG and without technical support. It is an older software version which can be operated only on certain now no longer commercially available products.
