Can Modbus be implemented on the xx7 series?

Yes. One of our system partners sells a solution in the form of a Step®7 program library. This solution can be used for old systems PCD2.M1x7 and PCD2.M487.
On the PCD3.M5547 and PCD2.M5547 Modbus is implemented in the firmware. Further information is available on the support site.
