Save the remote IP-Address as PCD text-medium in IP Open Data Mode

FAQ #100614

This FAQ tells you how to correctly define the remote IP-Address as PCD text-medium when receiving telegrams in IP Open Data with the CSF "ReceiveData"/"ReceiveDataRev".

When reiceiving data in IP Open Data Mode (UDP/TCP) you can save the remote stations IP-Address in a register or a text executing the CSF "ReceiveData"/"ReceiveDataRev". For example:

CSF    S.IPD.Library                ;Receive data

            S.IPD.ReceiveData
ChannelReg                ;channel number where data will be received

            RecvIP                            ;received from this IP

            RecvPort                        ;received from this Port

            NumberOfBytesRecv    ;max datalength

            RecvLnth                        ;length received

            RecvData                        ;the received data

If you want to save the remote IP-Address "RecvIP" into a text, then you best define it as a "RAM Text" with "Fixed" 16 Characters at least and predefine the text with "".
